The information does not reveal your specific identity, but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use our Services, and other technical information. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Services, and for our internal analytics and reporting purposes.

Like many businesses, we also collect information through cookies and similar technologies. You can find out more about how we use cookies at https://www.brennersw.com/cookies.

2. How do we use your information?

We use the information we collect in the following ways:

3. What legal bases do we rely on to process your information?

We only process your personal information when we believe it is necessary and we have a valid legal reason to do so under applicable law, like with your consent, to comply with laws, to provide you with Services to enter into or fulfill our contractual obligations, to protect your rights or to fulfill our legitimate business interests.

If you are located in Canada, we may process your information if you have given us express consent to use your personal information for a specific purpose, or in situations where your permission may be inferred. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

4. When and with whom do we share your personal information?

We may share your information in the following circumstances:

5. Do we use cookies and other tracking technologies?

We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to gather information when you interact with our Services. Some online tracking technologies help us maintain the security of our Services, prevent crashes, fix bugs, save your preferences, and assist with basic site functions.

Specific information about how we use such technologies and how you can opt out or refuse certain cookies is set forth in our Cookie Policy at https://www.brennersw.com/cookies.

6. Do we use artificial intelligence-based products?

As part of our Services, we may offer products, features, or tools powered by artificial intelligence, machine learning or similar technologies (“AI Products”).  These tools are designed to enhance your experience and provide you with innovative products and solutions. We may use the information you provide to us, including any CAD models, data, drawings or documents, but not including any personal data, for the purposes of improving and providing our services through the training of artificial intelligence (AI) models. The information used for AI training will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws and regulations, and any such data will be anonymized or aggregated to the extent possible to protect your privacy.

By using our Services, you consent to the use of your information in this manner. If you wish to opt out of the use of your data for AI training purposes, please contact us at privacy@brennersw.com.

7. Data Security Measures

We take the security of your information seriously and use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect your data. We use encryption and secure access protocols to ensure that your information is protected during transmission and storage. However, no security system is completely foolproof, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.

8. How long do we retain your information?

We will retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the Services, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting or other legal requirements). We may also retain and use your information to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

9. Do we collect information from minors?

Our Services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 18 without parental consent, we will deactivate that account and delete that information as quickly as possible.

10. What are your privacy rights?

Depending on your state of residence in the U.S. or in some regions, such as Canada, you have rights that allow you greater access and control over your personal information. You may review, change, or terminate your account at any time, depending on your country, province or state of residence.

In some regions, like Canada, you have certain rights under applicable data protection laws. These may include the right to (i) request access and obtain a copy of your personal information; (ii) to request rectification or erasure; (iii) to restrict the processing of your personal information; (iv) if applicable, to data portability; and (v) not to be subject to automated decision-making. However, this will not affect the lawfulness of the processing before its withdrawal nor, when applicable law allows, will it affect the processing of your personal information conducted in reliance on lawful processing grounds other than consent.

11. Controls For Do-Not-Track Features

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a “Do-Not-Track” (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preferences not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage, no uniform technology standard exists for recognizing and implementing DNT signals. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online.
